We highly recommend it. While Ponta Delgada has public transport, renting a car gives you complete freedom to explore the island at your own pace. The airport has several car rental agencies and parking is free on our street.
Yes! We provide a baby cot and high chair at no extra cost. The neighbourhood is residential and safe. The house has 127 m² across 2 floors, with space for everyone. Blue Flag beaches are just 10 minutes away by car.
The Azores are fantastic year-round. Summer (Jun-Aug) is warmest, ideal for beaches. Spring (Mar-May) is perfect for hiking and whale watching. Autumn has fewer tourists and winter offers lower prices and natural hot springs.

The beds are comfortable. The outdoor BBQ pit is good for cooking or just for having a fire. Lots of room. The location is central for seeing sites and attractions. Vania had many goods for us when we arrived. Two bottles of wine, juice, milk, butter, crackers, cheese and more. It was very much appreciated. Even before we came to the Azores, we were in touch with Pedro and he sent us lots of information regarding Sao Miguel. I would recommend this place to everyone. We travel a lot and it was one of the best places we have stayed. We were there for a week. Thank you Pedro and Vania. Having to leave.”
